Brick City Entrepreneurship Training
A collaboration with =SPACE Newark
Supported by the US Small Business Administration, GAFC Program
Brick City Entrepreneurship Training is a six-week, part-time bootcamp that trains multicultural entrepreneurs in foundational entrepreneurial skills to become a high-growth, technology startup founder or a main-street, small business founder.
Entrepreneurs will be given training, combined with applied case study work, to learn and refine their skills over the course of the month.
Program details can be found here.
Stay tuned for updates for Summer 2023.
Entrepreneurs will have access to asynchronous learning modules with specific activities tied to each. These modules have been created specifically for the Brick City Program.
A pillar of this program is the network. There will be an opportunity to build relationships with other entrepreneurs in the cohort and we'll provide teambuilding activities to facilitate these engagements.
Outside of educational sessions, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity for 1:1 or small group mentorship with the VentureLink team.
This program supports individuals who are under-represented in the high-technology entrepreneurial community. This includes women, individually identifying people, veterans, and LGBTQ+ individuals.
You do not need entrepreneurial experience to be qualified for this program. We are open to individuals of all professional backgrounds, although we do look for people with entrepreneurial aptitude, an idea, and the tenacity to build a high-growth startup.
